Home

I arrived home somewhere around 2000 and started by doing the important things: switching on the computer to collect emails and Blogs etc and then getting some food prior to putting things away, sorting washing and getting things planned for tomorrow. The weekend away at Palmerston North at the Rose Gardens Annual Tournament was quite successful in that I came 3rd in the Silver Section (the biggest section where all the players between 5 and 7 Handicap play).

We stayed with an acquaintance who plays at the Rose Gardens. She and her husband (a 'retired' scientist) have a huge and lovely house filled with art and music (he has a magnificent concert harp and a grand piano). I learned a great deal over the two nights about music genre when all the 'girls' had gone to bed at 2130. We stayed up into the wee small hours listening and watching.

Now it's time for bed.
