I have to confess that I find shoes fascinating because they can
often tell one so much about the wearer. However whilst I was wearing
stout walking shoes at the Farmers' Market some were wearing less
substantial and more decorative footwear:
I understand that men are either legs men or boobs men. I happen to be of the legs persuasion. However my interest is restricted to female legs. It did not, however, stop me from finding this pair of legs bloggable (if not, from my point of view anyway, attractive):

The sandals are fun although not really "my style". Better remain silent about the tattoos... not knowing whose legs those are! [Love your eye for detail!]
ReplyDeleteTattoos turn me completely off, even on very attractive otherwise people. But I agree these were certainly bloggable!

ReplyDeleteMonica: I have no idea who either of the subjects were. The sandals and tattoos are ones I'd wear either (you'll be glad no doubt to learn).
Jill: NZ wouldn't be a good place for you to find a mate then (if you were looking for one that is) because probably a majority of NZ men - and a significant number of women - have tattoos.
Jenny: I can't tell you because I only photographed his legs. You can be certain, though, that they were very much covered. The difference between these tattoos and most was the variety and brightness of the colours used.
Pat: I wouldn't even think about it. I know which side my bread's buttered (and I can imagine a right hook from you could lay me out for a day!).
Carol: Snow? Oh yes that white stuff. I'm sure that you'd get noticed if you wore those in the snow! I haven't seen decent snow since I was in Canada in 1992. I've never been to Seattle.
Those shoes just have to be worn with painted toenails - love them but couldn't imagine walking too many miles in them. The tatoos are impressive but give me the creeps! Don't know where you have been hanging out, GB but the majority of men (young and old) i know don't have tats.

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about what you said about tattoos Pauline and you are probably correct. I think it's a question of perception. Few of my immediate friends are tattood but many of them are either New Zealanders of my generation or younger friends more recently from Europe amongst whom tattoos are less popular. If however one walks down any street in Napier it seems as though a very high percentage of people sport tattoos to some degree.

Though I am told by folks who have visited both places, that Seatle looks very much like New Zealand. Some day I'll have to check out NZ to see if they're right.
