It's now nearly 3am on New Year's Day and I'm back from the New Year celebrations. I've finished texting and just had a phone call from Friend Whom I'd Trust With My Life and John and am listening to the torrential rain hammering on the roof of The Cottage. I shall now go to bed although I'm actually feeling wide awake. By the time I wake up those of my readers who are not in New Zealand will still be preparing to see in the New Year.
I hope that you all have a peaceful, happy, healthy and fulfilled 2012.
You too.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2012 to you and yours, too! I am just about to get dressed for the posh dinner I am invited to tonight :-) Since the dinner is not supposed to last until midnight, we're going to my parents' afterwards to clink glasses with them.
ReplyDeleteHAppy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteOh, spooky! as the great Dame would say. And the scientists are denying time travel exists!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy 2012! It'is, as you correctly say, still 2011 here.
All 'good things' to you in the new year.
ReplyDeleteNight night and happy new year to you too,
ReplyDeleteSP
Glad the rain did not dampen your celebrations.
ReplyDeleteWe had a good night and although we have no great anticipation of a better year we did feel a sense of achievement that we have made it to 2012....and that was worth celebrating!
