This is the second day that I have intended to read and write blogs and emails and generally catch up. This is the second day that I have been struck with a massive dose of
ARADD. I have achieved a lot. I must have because I have been very busy. To be fair (to myself) I have spent more than a few hours on the telephone and Skype catching up with family and friends and I've been out to town and shopped and had coffee with a friend. I've done a bit of child transportation. I've done several hours of ironing whilst watching TV and being on the phone. Now it's nearly midday and I'm due out for croquet. But before I go I'm determined to show you some of the results of the walk I had along the beach at Mount Maunganui on Monday morning.

Walking in parts was difficult because of the large number of shells |
As is said on FB, OMG! Phenomenal shots, GB! Especially like the footprints in the sand. All those shells, too many to go in my jeans pockets. Hope no more tremors are being felt in NZ.

ReplyDeleteOh....I am so swept away by all of these but one absolute favorite is the footprints, Graham...they are remarkable!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the footprints, too although the owner of them seems to have a strange gait. And the next shot is just awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat was a productive walk. The images from the footprints, the tree, The shells are favourites of mine. The green lipped mussel would have us all running marathons.
ReplyDeleteI've never been on a beach with so many various kinds of shells! And all in such great shape!
ReplyDeleteIs that a rip tide in the 3rd photo?

ReplyDeleteOh Graham... These are all fantastic! That beach seems to just go on and on. Just now I wish I could just snap my fingers and be there for a walk! ... we just had a relapse today into winter with full snow storm...!
ReplyDeleteWe are so lucky in NZ with our beaches...
ReplyDeleteInteresting that for me, the footprints look raised instead of sunken...
