Another Update

Hi my Blogging Friends.  It's been quite an busy few days and I'm writing this at 0600 before we get ready to go to the Tournament.  Staying with friends of one of The Gang with whom I go to tournaments means that even in the evenings there are few spare minutes to blog or email without appearing rude and we are out at 0745 each day.  Being the driver and playing at two separate clubs means a round trip each morning. 

On the CJ front the news last night was good and he is now in a ward and sending his love.

I've not being playing well this season and I came to this Tournament (one of the most important tournaments in the golf croquet calendar) just to enjoy myself and not worry about the results.  It's just as well because I couldn't make my close hoops for love nor money.  Somehow I have managed to alter my swing and am jabbing the close ball.  But, hey, yesterday apart from that I played well and really did enjoy myself even though I lost most of my games.  Bummer, eh.  But wotthehellarchiewotthehell much worse things happen at sea.

And the world gets smaller doesn't it?  Fi from Four Paws and Whiskers who lives and teaches in Christchurch commented on the last entry that one of her students was playing.  He's one of the Top Players and I played hime first off yesterday.  I lost 4:7 but it was a good game so I was well pleased.
