Black Sheep Ale

The local New World supermarket sells a large number of Europen ales including quite a few British ones including Black Sheep Ale. So what is bloggable about that? The fact that in my fridge on the other side of the world I have some of the said Black Sheep Ale. So what is bloggable about that? The fact that a few days ago my Nephew-in-Law mentioned that he had been in the White Heart Inn in Penistone where they sold the very same beer on draught.

So one and a half to two Black Sheep Ales in a day is a man's quota. Yeah right.

  1. Stopping at one and a half would be impossible (I don't order halves) and only drinking two when the opportunity presents itself would be a challenge that I don't think I could handle.

And of course if you like the Black Sheep Ale then you should definitely try to find a bottle or two of Yorkshire Square Ale -- my favourite of their bottled beers.

  2. I do think this is quite bloggable, the bottle is interesting to me. Our beer around here is "flashy"...this bottle appears more rustic. The "Enjoy responsibly" signage on the bottle is neat. That certainly isn't something they do here in the US.
