This morning the weather front passed through with a very marked delineation between the heavy cloud of the past few days and the promise of sun and warmth coming in from the West.

Notes on my life when in New Zealand
Didn't I tell you every hour of bad weather passing meant one hour nearer to the good weather? Seems like you're in for a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteYes and how right you were. And how one's mood changes as the sun comes out.
ReplyDeleteIt does, doesn't it! When I am on the train and look at the rather drab parts of towns along the track, it fascinates me to see how much more cheerful and attractive everything looks as soon as a cloud passes and the sun shines on it again.
DeleteGreat photo, GB.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely more blue there than a pair of seaman's trousers. (I hope memory serves me right - I think you've mentioned that old saying as well some time?)
ReplyDeleteIt is a great example of a passing front, very nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photograph!! Love it.
