Sunset over Hawkes Bay

Looking out of The Cottage earlier this evening the sky was pink.  Given that the sun sets behind The Cottage and out of sight over the top of the slight hillside on which I live this seemed to me to indicate that there was likely to be a magnificent sunset behind me.  There was.  These are all straight out of the camera.

Sunset Across Poverty Bay

Yesterday saw one of the best sunsets for a while across Poverty Bay from Mike and Sandra's house. I sometimes think that I see and photograph so many sunsets because of where I am privileged enough to live and be that I really shold give everyone a rest from them. But I get so enthralled and excited that I just can't help sharing them.
