Northland

Over the next while (I've no idea how long or short the number of postings will be) I shall be posting about my sightseeing in Northland.  The area Pauline and I covered is within this map.  I shall refer to places now and again and even if you don't wish to know where they are - hopefully knowledge of their location will not be needed to enjoy the tour - it will serve me as a reminder!

South Island

Now for the South Island map. I still haven't had time to experiment but it seems reasonably ok in it's present format.

North Island

I was writing a post this morning about the birds of New Zealand when it ocurred to me that many of you will not know much about the map of New Zealand. Of course everyone knows roughly where we are and most people could pick out a map of the Country from a choice of maps. It is probable the, like me before I came here, most do not know much about where everything is. So I thought that I would experiment by posting a map of North Island.
