One of the most well-known names in aviation history must be the de Havilland Tiger Moth. 8868 were built between 1932 and 1944. Here are two of the very many survivors:
de Havilland D82 Tiger Moth |
de Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth Forward cockpit |
de Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth Rear cockpit |
de Havilland DH-82A Tiger Moth II Aircraft, |

I wonder if any of these belong to my dentist?
ReplyDeleteMost of these are a bite expensive even for a dentist!
DeleteIt must be (one of the most well-known names in aviation history), because even I remember it. Mind you, back in my youth I read my father's old Biggles books when visiting my grandparents!
ReplyDeleteI've never read a Biggles book but they'd be his sort of aircraft.
DeleteFirst steam engines...now Tiger Moths!
ReplyDeleteGreat treats!
