A friend who plays croquet and his wife from Gisborne were staying with me just after I arrived back in NZ and, when they departed, they gave me a Lucky Bamboo. I assume that they are trained to go round in circles because some are straight. If so that must have taken a lot of time and effort. Whatever it is a fascinating and pleasing addition to The Study. Fraser just looked at it and said "Awesome. That's really cool." So I guess it must be good. Apparently they have been known for centuries under the laws of Feng Shui as a symbol of good luck and is said to enhance positive energy.

I've looked at these before, they are quite beautiful and fascinating.
ReplyDeleteIt's bound to be a good year now!
I can feel it's positive energy, just in glancing at the photo. Green, pure green of nature, always boosts my spirit. It tends to freshen a gloomy attitude :)
ReplyDeleteLucky You! ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's generally good to have green plants indoors... They act as air filters, producing oxygen while absorbing other less healthy stuff. To me a room without any plants always seems to be lacking something.
My mom gas always bamboo in the house somewhere. They are very interesting looking plants.
ReplyDeleteSeems to me you have heaps of positive energy but a good omen can't do any harm. It's a beautiful, vibrant plant.
ReplyDeleteHi GB, Yes, supposedly very good feng shui so I am sure will add benefit to your surroundings. I keep on meaning to buy a couple for the office and home so I guess this will perhaps give me impetus to do so. Must look it all up in my books, I find it a fascinating subject although not always easy to put into practice.
