Shrek

You've been introduced to The Handbag and to Dora (The Explorer) and now I'm introducing you to Shrek.  Why Shrek?  Because she's large, green and ugly.  She's a Toyota Emina 3 litre 4 wheel drive seven-seater (called a Previa in the UK).    

Dora The Explorer

I mentioned at some time that I was going to Dannevirke in Dora. Well now is the time to introduce you to Dora. Dora is a 1998 Ford Explorer 4 litre 4 wheel drive towing machine. Her role in life used to be to tow a boat. Now she's a family mover. Part of the fleet which comprises The Handbag, Dora and Shrek. You will be introduced to Shrek later. But why, you ask, should the Explorer be called Dora apart from the obvious reason that they rhyme. Well the answer lies in New Zealand Children's Television where Dora is a pre-school cartoon character. I think, however, that she's actually created in California but, well, what's new there then?
