I Don't Believe It

I have dozens of half finished posts spread out over the last year or so, perhaps longer.  Every now and then I go into Posts>Drafts and haul them out, look at them, use the odd thought and close them again.  I last did that a day or two ago.  I have, somewhere a half-written post I was just going to finish but when I went in to Posts all there is is All.  The other filters have gone.  Excuse my French but Le Blogger m'a vraiment pissé outre du de premier rang cette fois.

  1. Can you say "I don't believe it" like Victor from "One Foot in the Grave"? (Which reminds me, I think I want to watch that series all over again, haven't looked at those DVDs in several years). Who knows - maybe next time all the drafts will be back...

    1. I can say it with my best English accent but only others can tell you how near Victor Meldew I sound. I have discovered that the drafts come and go. Perhaps I'll discover why.

  2. Have you tried switching back to the old blogger interface? I never 'up-dated' and still have the break-down of various forms of post.

    1. I went over to the new Blogger interface as soon as it came out and, on the whole, I prefer it. Blogger is, I think, trying to do too many things too fast though and seems to be making some serious errors along the way.

  3. I was going to say what Scriptor already said. I too prefer using the old interface and there I still have access to those filters as well.

I think Blogger is in over their head with their latest layout changes. Seems to be lots of "bugs" about. My labels below posts went missing recently and there was no option to bring them back. They have fixed that now. But instead the quick-edit-pen has disappeared... And I see at the Blogger Help Forum that this is not just "my problem".

Apparently your problem is not only yours either:

    1. The quick edit pen went a while ago for me but I've already made the point to CJ about the new interface.

  4. For the time being I'm putting this here so that I know where to look when I forget.

If I edit a post and then save and close it shows the Draft and other options. For the time being I can live with that in the hope that they will sort the problem in due course.

  5. I have the old interface too, but am constantly exhorted to change over... I will not!
